As a stower in Amazon, We had to grab items put into carts, Then we would stock the items into shelves, and scan them to add to the inventory online. As a receive worker we handlers unloaded boxes, opened them, removed the items, scanned them, and sent them o to stowers.
Target Distribution Center, Redlands-Decant/Induction/Pack August 2022- October 2022
In decant, I would be tasked with opening boxes full of items, scan them into totes, and virtually and physically send them o to induction. In induction, I would grab some totes, scan them, and grab the items out and put them one at a time onto a conveyor belt to get sent to pack. At pack, I would wait for items to drop into boxes under a conveyor belt, until they would fill up a box. Then I would close them when they got full, and send it o to get sent to a Target store.

As a packer, I would be given items o of a conveyor belt to put away into containers designated for them. Then I would scan them virtually into the system. When the containers get filled, I would close them out physically and virtually, then put them at the end cap of the aisle. I would grab another container and fill it up too. As a picker, I would be assigned aisles to pick from to get containers, close them, put them onto a cart, and stage them for the delivery trucks to get and ship out.
