*General Office Duties
*Answer all incoming phone calls; take written messages (if necessary) or direct calls to respective individual voicemail.
*Maintain stock of office supplies and order supplies as needed.
*Responsible for creation of court files upon filing and close out of files upon conclusion of litigation.
*Ensure that all Notices for meetings are posted and visible for tribal members.
*Must prepare for any staff meetings, judicial training sessions and/or interdepartmental meetings. Said preparation includes but is not limited to, copying and distributing agendas and handouts, ordering and setting up and food services for said meetings.

*Complete the timesheets for the Director, Assistant Director and each employee and collect their respective time cards for the Director's review and signature.

*Prepare any envelopes for US Mail, Hand Delivery and Interoffice mail.
*Maintain and Update Mail Directory of Tribal Members and/or litigants.
*Ensure that any and all judges sign their stipends for presiding over court sessions, attending meetings and/or trainings, and on-duty services.
*Retrieve checks for judges and notify them when they are available.
*Maintain their correspondence bin up to date.
*Post notice of court session taking place and shall have a copy of the docket with them for purposes of addressing any inquiries as to times of hearings. Any further inquiries must be forwarded to another staff member.
*Responsible for all expectant parties to sign in/check in with them and direct them to the waiting area (away from secretary desk).
