Currently Radiology Coordinator for Advanced Vascular Associates In Morristown NJ responsible for the scheduling of CTAs, CTs, MRAs, MRIs, as well as regular X-rays and Indium Scans. Including the following a. Ordering lab work needed, Reviewing results to decide if IV hydration is required due to renal issues, and writing the orders if it is needed

e. Tracking discs/images and requesting copies if needed as well as ordering M2S discs for 3D reconstructions of aneurysms to be repaired.
f. Maintaining recall system for surveillance testing, and mailing recall documents 2000 -2014
Surgical coordinator/ Supervisor for Advanced Vascular Associates handled the scheduling department with 3 staff for a 6 doctor vascular practice working out of 4 hospitals. Taking care of cases from start to finish including the following:
a. Booking surgeries, angiograms and minor procedures directly with the OR or Interventional radiology, sending all paperwork to the faculty performing the testing, b. Heavy patient contact, interaction with family and other physician’s offices. Getting cardiac clearance the pt prior to surgery, booking pre op testing, giving the patient pre op instruction. c. Ordering equipment, instruments, blood and blood products, IV hydration, premedication for allergies, making sure any stents, implants or outside product is delivered by the rep and he is prepared to be there for thru procedure
d. preauthorization of surgical procedures, getting referrals, knowledge of vascular surgical codes and ICDs, sending clinical out to insurance companies, setting up peer to peer reviews if needed 1995 -2000
