SUMMARY

I am a highly motivated, dedicated and altruistic individual with proficient experience in customer

service, workforce innovation, clerical work, and driving. My “learn anything with a can do attitude” and

experience have enabled me to work in many areas where I have acted as a community/executive bus

operator, that is respectful of and responsive to individual safety and wellbeing. Nonetheless,

communication is a priority in assisting with wheelchair bound commuters and with their walkers. Picking up

Assist residents into and out of vehicle in a safe manner.

Secure passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.

Practice safe driving techniques at all times.

Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories and report and coordinate vehicle maintenance repairs.

Establish and monitor daily and weekly trip inspection and preventative maintenance programs, as well as maintain records regarding the maintenance of all vehicles.

Maintain a safe driving record according to Company guidelines.

Handle emergency situations and basic First Aid.

Report potentially unsafe conditions to the Executive Director.

Picks-up and off loads passengers at pre-arranged locations; assists passengers in boarding and departing the bus as necessary; loads and unloads wheelchairs.

Collect fares and keeps records of amounts collected and distances traveled.

Ensures passenger safety on the bus; maintains order among passengers on the bus.

Makes regular inspections of bus including pre-trip safety inspections following established check lists; check belts, oil, and water levels.

Work safely and adhere to principles of safety.

Work independently in the absence of supervision.

Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
