Participated in Quality Inspections and staying up to date with applicable codes and standards for laboratory certification and implementation. Also, analyzed finished products to prove they were made properly and they contained the amounts of constituents they were supposed to contain. Duties included design and manufacture of airplane helmets, interliners and Radomes. These were made using applications of Fiberglass, foam and leather. Helped develop 9 patents involving the manufacture of these products. Worked with the United States government in acquiring these products during the Vietnam war, Operation Desert Storm and other government needs. Appomattox River Water Authority: Chemist/Microbiologist Dates 08/77 to 08/89

Performed chemical and microbiological analysis for 90 MGD water processing plant and made certain the drinking water produced was safe for human consumption according to EPA standards. Also, became a state certified operator of the highest level. This allowed me to be entirely responsible for the operation of the facility, including QA and data reporting and records.
