PROFILE
My name is Jala Nicolle Brown. I am 21 years old. I grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. I major in Psychology and I plan on graduating from Winston-Salem State University in May 2023. I decided to choose WSSU because it was my first choice. Attending this HBCU, I am able to be surrounded by the African American culture. While I’m here I plan on finding a deeper connection to African American history. Once I graduate from WSSU, my goal is to attend grad- school which is undecided. I plan on getting my master’s degree in family therapy. Once I achieve this goal, I plan on starting my career as a family therapist.

I graduated high school with a 3.5 GPA. Throughout my high school experience, I marched in the Northeast Marching Rams for 4 years. I played Trumpet for all four of those years.
