As a Nurse practitioner, I have 13 years of nurse practitioner experience working with both adult and pediatric clients. I have nine years in pediatric primary care, 1-year Emergency department experience, and one year of Adult Palliative Care experience working with chronic illness, providing pain and symptom management. My duties, as a nurse nurse practitioner, included diagnosing and treating a variety of illnesses, including acute and chronic asthma management, Diabetes maintenance, performing well visit, caring for minor traumas, injuries, and skin disorders, and managing staff. As a Registered Nurse, I have ten years of pediatric intensive care nursing experience, caring for the sickest and most diverse population in South Florida at Jackson Memorial Hospital caring for MVA, traumas, burns, ARDS, asthma, Heme/Onc, ECMO, CVA, congenital heart defect, transplant, and Neuro-surgical patients. I also have three years of registered nursing experience in OB/GYN where I cared for laboring, antepartum and postpartum women.
