EXPERIENCE

I am currently working on-site at Microsoft Data Center. We work with live servers in the datacenter. We do break-fix support, networking device hardware issue replacements such as... motherboards, hard drives, PSU's, CPUs, M.2 SSD's, fans, etc. Hardware failure analysis activities, reconfigure hardware and firmware, run diagnostics and perform systems/hardware troubleshooting, cable investigations, cable reseating, cable cleaning using fiber optic cleaning tools.

JULY 2022 – NOVEMBER 2022

COMPUTER NETWORKING, INSIGHT GLOBAL

I was working with the Arizona Department of Public Safety as a computer network operator. We received calls from internal users within AZDPS. They call in whenever they’re having any kind of issue with their computers/accounts. There are many different web-based applications we use to look into the issues they are receiving. Such as... Active Directory, Mainframe, Spillman, Track It, JWI, etc. This was a 6-month contract, I ended up finding a new job during my 5th month.

NOVEMBER 2019 – JULY 2022

BREAK-FIX TECHNICIAN, CIOX HEALTH

I worked with different models of desktops & laptops such as hp's, dell's & windows. I worked externally & internally on these models. If there are any kind of malfunctions going on with them, I would see if there's anything going on internally. Such as... Replacing ram, batteries, fans, screens, keyboards etc. I also troubleshoot and image them as needed.

I sent replacement equipment as well as new equipment to employees if tickets are requested through our system such as monitors, desktops, laptops, keyboards, mice, power cables, etc.

NOVEMBER 2017 – NOVEMBER 2019

DATACENTER TECHNICIAN, VOLT WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS

I worked at the Apple Data Center in the processing & QA department where we did data entry. We worked with data servers & switches such as Dell, Arista, Juniper etc. We transferred assorted inventory over to other sites using our system through a MacBook as well as doing transfers within the facility. Once the servers arrived at the facility, we received them in and racked & stacked the servers. We would then start processing them into the system right away. once that process was done someone else would QA’d them. We would also mount servers into cabinets using the same system.

I transferred over to site services during my last few months being with the company. I was then working with running fiber and cat6 copper cable and connecting them to SFP connectors and modules for the copper. I was also landing fiber into IDF, MPF, and LIUs to interconnect live servers to correct live feed. We used VFL on fibers to further verify if fiber cables are damaged. worked on break fix when needed by swapping out bad hard and root drives from servers as well as bad DIMMs, PSUs, motherboards, etc. we conducted a minimum configuration to find the source of bad DIMM or CPUs. We also built infrastructure for in-house networking cabinets.

DECEMBER 2016 – OCTOBER 2017

RETURNS MANAGER, GRECO AND SONS OF ARIZONA

Me & my team processed returned products that customers denied. My team determined if the product was good for restocking or not. I checked in the drivers, collected invoices, processed cash and checks. I also applied credits to customers as needed, Input information as needed into our system, etc.

I delivered orders to customers as needed when drivers called in or if a driver was late for their delivery. This included handling checks and cash as well as having invoices signed from customers.
