Personal Project

● Forked off of the previous project (PyCast 2D), an in-depth, personal verison of a 3D raycasting engine using more complex algorithms and mathematics based off the original Doom or Wolfenstein 3D raycasting engine and visualize the "field of view" of the moving particle. Personal Project

● Created using python, a basic ray casting engine creating using the Pygame library with object oriented programming line segment “boundaries” and vector “rays.” The result simulates a light source casting shadows in a 2D canvas.

1000 Genomes SNPs Analysis 9/2022 - 12/2022

School Project

● Report summarizing workflow and results of an analysis of SNPs from the 1000 Genomes Project. Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNPs) data in VCF format were obtained from the genome projects data base and SNPs were downloaded using the Ensembl Data Slicer from chromosome 17 between genomic coordinates 20809577 and 21049577.
