Entire Press operations, responsible for color quality, registration, production, waste management, press maintenance, as well as ancillary equipment for press and delivery options.
SKILLS
I have run several types of press equipment, a full web Hiedleburg M130 with Quad tech closed loop color/w Brunner instrument flight, folder capable of 16pg magazine fold, tabloid 8pg.delta fold, album fold. A Vits Blava sheeter also Gammerler trimmer and Rima stacker delivery. I am also skilled mechanically and am capable of extensive repairs and asked to perform them unsupervised.
I am currently running a 10 color Muller 29x23 with speeds of 1000fpm with sheeter and rewind capabilities.
I have extensive knowledge of Harris equipment both M110 and M300 and have been directly involved with evaluating, installing, and rebuilding several presses.
I am also familiar with WPM inline finishing equipment and have several years of experience in the installation, operation, crew training and trouble shooting of this equipment.
As a 3rd shift Night contact, my responsibilities included Client press checks, Customer contact for jobs in progress, to coordinate Pressroom, Prepress, Bindery and Shipping to facilitate a smooth and efficient operation. My responsibilities also were to brief the dayshift super of the evenings events.
Some of my other tasks included ordering requisitioning parts and supplies and writing reviews and/or disciplinary actions for the personnel on the shift.
I enjoy many hobbies: I enjoy coaching at the local High school both Women’s and Men’s Volleyball teams and have competed myself thru the college level program. I also enjoy fishing, camping, and motorcycle riding are among my favorites.
I am also a husband with a wonderful wife and we enjoy 4 older children the youngest of which is in High school.
