Freelance Strategic Designer
August 2016 – Present
• Lead the problem framing, stakeholder engagement workshop, and design development on projects ranging from user experience visual communications strategies, brand consolidation, rebrand, and brand strategy.
• Deliverables include: survey results analysis and synthesis, co-creation workshops and results synthesis, brand system from styleguide to social media launch campaign, and organizational roadmap.
• Clients:
Non-profit — Asian Climbing Tribe, VIVO Music Festival, Students for Educational Justice.
• Results: greatly improved audience exposure and brand recognition, as well as organizational stakeholder vision analysis and synthesis, which formed operational roadmap. For-profit — Cognizant, The Guardian, Corner Bouldering Gym (Taipei).
• Results: greatly improved visual communication clarity, faciliated open innovation project workshop, and received media coverage for the newly launched brand. Designer at The Nantucket Project

• Graphic and Environmental Design — created 103 original conceptual posters, assisted senior art director in the roll out of the event brand across print, digital and social media formats.
• Social Media — Worked with senior copy writer to create social media posts. Developed and executed visual themes for campaigns.
• Sales Communications Design — Collaborated with sales team, producer, and creative director to create strategic pitch descks, showflow, and environmental experience designs. Contributed to the successful signing of several corporate partners, including Lululemon and BMW. • Project Coordination and Management Development — Assisted team leads and CEO to develop project management SOP. Coordinated between writers and PR team for PR strategy testing.
• Content Development and Freelancers Management --- Planned the road-map for content development based on Google Analytics data. Edited over 200 research articles by freelancers. Coordinated and managed external data contractors.
Climate Future Strategies through Designed Worldbuilding
• The Tegel Project: Using speculative design methodologies, created diverse alternative social engagement use proposals for the newly decommissioned Berlin Tegel Airport.
• Pahama and Akubatula: a studio prompt led by Professor Tom Klinkowstein, President of Media A, LLC. Through the lens of a created user profile, under created climate crisis future with assistance of visual artifacts, ethical and social traditions are discussed and reconsidered. • Thesis: Designing with Third Culture Perspective: A Case for Culture 3.0 Communications Designer. Innovative publication layouts and means of utilizing mixed langauge content as way to conceptually visualize multicultural experience.
