DOC WORKER, LTL, DIRECT MARKETING; PORTLAN, OR— APRIL 2021-PRESENT

Ensure all LTL pallets are properly inventoried, Wrapped and routed to their destination. Prepare all documents, BOL and shipment stickers for all outgoing freight. Meet with drivers from various companies to ensure the driver is comfortable with the contents of the freight and ensure driver departs on time. Frequent trips to the US Post Office to mail 12 to 15 pallets of standard mail and check multiple PO Boxes.

Responsible for loading truck with products safety and efficiently. Ensured correct product and quantity are loaded on the correct trailer. Operate power equipment safely. Have a great understanding of procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a global understanding of all processes. Work with drivers to ensure they feel safe with the outgoing load.

TEAM LEAD, MICHAELS CRAFTS DISTRIBUTION; CENTRALIA, WA — 2011-JULY 2020

Process goods received by the Distribution Center prior to shipment to retail stores including, verifying shipments, putting away merchandise, preparing outbound trailers, retrieving merchandise for distribution and other related tasks as required.

WAREHOUSE MANAGER, WA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD; CAMP MURRAY, WA — 2009–2011

Ensured that inventories and location surveys were performed in accordance with established procedures. Instructed warehouse personnel in loading, unloading, segregation, dunnage, pelletizing, and selection of stock and storage areas. Performed property disposal storage functions.
