Allied Engineering - Savage, MN - April 2022 - December 2022 1. Determine the location in which samples of construction materials will be taken. Collect field and quarry samples of the construction materials and soils such as fresh and cured concrete, asphalt, sand, aggregate, pavement, structural steel, and reinforcing bar.

2. Perform a variety of tests and inspections such as: soil classification, sieve analysis, gradation, PH, moisture, sand equivalent, oven moisture, slump cone, and cylinder stress tests, both in the laboratory and in the field. 3. Determine if test results are in compliance with applicable construction plans, specifications, standards and contracts.

4. Use specialized equipment, electronic instruments, and adjustment instruments for changing conditions. Control maintenance and servicing of assigned equipment.

5. Perform precise mathematical calculations related to materials testing; prepare data sheets and graphical representation of test results/data.

6. Inspection of where materials are used and stored to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and ordinances.

7. Prepare a variety of technical and other written reports on laboratory test results. File and maintain laboratory records.

8. Communicate verbally and in writing with supervisors and coworkers, county and outside agency representatives, contractors, consulting firms, business and property owners.. Master Design Hardwood
