Personal Life Priorities and Interest

My name is Robert Nolan Amador. I recently relocated to Mission Texas. Through 2019 to 2023 I served as a contract Volunteer in Wallkill, New York at the Head Quarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses. This opportunity came to be available due to being one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and having a medical background primarily in X-ray technology. I am identifying this information, right away that I am one of Jehovah’s witnesses, because this is one of the major root reasons for my morals, ethics, and the principals. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in short yes I am a god-fearing man but by choosing to dedicate myself to living in such a way, I Live to uphold standard that is pleasing to God. This standard entails that I not only act in such a way when I am at my place of worship but to uphold this standard outside in my day-to-day life. Treating others the way I want to be treated, treating the relatives of others in a way that I would want mine to be treated, to not just fulfill an action but to take a personal interest in others by applying scriptural principals and teachings to my life. This also applies to my employment life, giving the best that I can when it comes to work for it is a reflection of who I am on a day-to-day basis. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses I am also involved in a volunteer service in which I take my own time to go out in a ministry work teaching and sharing with others what I have come to learn and know while I continuing to learn. I continue so that I can gain more understanding and achieve accurate understanding. I also attend regularly weekly meetings twice a week. My family is a high priority in my life spending time with and helping them and being for there for them when they need me. My love for my family is a motive in its own, the example my father put before me and what he went through and grinding it out even at the hardest of times and finding ways and still being a provider to my mom and little brother. The time that my mother invested in caring for myself and being there for me picking me up from school and all the times I asked things from her, it only makes sense that I show my respect and return the love that she gave to me. The late one of the family would be my little brother; at the age of 10 my parents got a surprise by finding out that they would be having a baby 10years after me, I love my little brother and I want to influence him by my example and teach him to grow in the right way with the right way to view life and others.

Personal interest in my life; aside from just keeping active, I put effort in my own personal fitness. Working out, keeping healthy and fit, and eating right brings me enjoyment and it also makes me feel more aware, alert, and I feel great. It is actually a side project right now to consult, teach, and help people better there lives with understanding and learning the whole picture; not just a piece of it, and applying it to there lives. I love using this skill to help others find there way back from injury, obesity, or inactivity to a more healthy and happier life.

Personal Work History and Views

Actual work experience, the majority of my dealings are in the medical field. Overall most of my work experience if not all of my work experience, required human interaction in-person or through telecommunication. This could be providing a service to customers or for patients; this also includes dealing with a direct team for shift work. When working with a team communication was key, from handling emergency situation or simply to just help one another to provide optimal service for customers or patients. Customer Service Rep - speed, accuracy, clarity, critical thinking, computer navigation skills was required to find information that was already filed, or to be able to figure out a way that will lead to the best answer and solution.

Fitness Coach - Required leadership, time tracking, teaching & motivating clients, being an example to others, Orchestrating a class divided into 2 or 3 groups depending on the lesson, making sure an organized and timed flow was performed. All these different elements were required so that the clients were able to receive the best product, best class, and best service. This role required both on site networking and off site networking with clients and co-workers. Early arrival was not only a requirement but also a necessity and key to a successful work day.

Radiology Technologist / CT technologist / MRI Technologist – Upon graduation, shortly after I then was hired to work for a Cardiologist. The position required being both and X-ray Technologist and be crossed trained as a CT Technologist. The major role was for CT imaging primarily, and included the responsibility of calling patients to the imaging area, triage and prepping the patient, starting catheter IV lines for contrast Injection, CT basic images and CTA imaging including Post image 3D – reconstruction. The role consisted of a two-man team, with an average of 20 – 30 patients a day, separate from x-rays.

MRI Technology was introduced in my next work location. This position was fill the roll of 2nd Technologist, primarily completing all CT images and X-rays, and serving as a secondary MRI technologist. The environment was a small team, due to this circumstance; it required similar responsibilities, calling patients to the back, triage and prep, along with starting Catheter IVs and 3D reconstruction. Few Years after I then became associated with Free Standing Emergency Rooms. Small Team Facilities that were set up with the ability to handle Emergency Situations including small surgeries. The shifts were broken into 2 sets 7am to 7pm as day shift and 7pm to 7am as graveyard. I was able to be part of both teams. At times, if necessary I filled 16hr shifts or even 24hr shifts. My role primarily was CT technologist and X-ray technologist, along with running Lab work, patient triage and patient assistant care. In October of 2019 I was offered a position to serve as a volunteer at the head quarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Through Oct 2019 – March 2023 is the time of my volunteer service. The position I was given was different position through time, starting in Equipment maintenance, this was a solo position that required critical thinking at times, but also required consistency checking up of equipment that was used daily. The focus was preventive maintenance, so that repair maintenance was a minimum. During the pandemic I was reassigned to a kitchen position, this was a team position, washing dishes, preparing food, and packaging food. As certain restrictions lifted, I was then moved to what would be my last position, in the Infirmary department. 7

The Infirmary department gave me a multi position role; this included working with Occupational Therapist, taking an oversight position for Senior Exercise and Fitness, Personal Care Assistance in the Long term Care floor, when requested providing assistance with the medical office, and the position of X-ray Technologist. When assisting Occupation Therapy, I would be given single patients to work with, under the direction of the therapist. As a Fitness instructor, I created a program that was adjusted to the ability of a senior class consisting of about 10 individuals on average. This was provided via zoom during pandemic, and eventually inperson as restrictions lifted. PCA work involved 8hr shifts, being available for Elderly, providing assistance with simple task as shopping or even to more intense and sensitive things like hygienic clean up. As an X – ray technologist, I communicated with the Onsite doctors, providing the best optimal images, patient count was an average of 6 or more a day.

My work History has a variety of different circumstances and situations. I am not afraid of new things, to try new things, or jump back into familiar areas of work. I believe hard work is crucial, but smart, fast, and efficient are just as important. Working with others alone is not enough, but being peaceable, agreeable, and united environment, is key to success in the work place.
