Dear Sirs and Madams,
I am currently completing my eighth year as a Certified Physician Assistant within the field of Orthopedic Surgery. My passion within the field of medicine has always been devoted to orthopedics and I am seeking an environment that nurtures both professional and personal growth within this specialty. Through the role of a physician assistant, I have acquired clinical skills, medical knowledge, and fortified the ethics necessary to serve as a competent and enthusiastic medical practitioner.
My background in orthopedics and sports medicine has been enhanced through my position as a Certified Athletic Trainer within the Sports Medicine and Athletic Related Trauma Institute at the University of South Florida, as well as the Graduate Assistant Certified Athletic Trainer position held at James Madison University. My well-rounded experiences throughout my professional employment have been rewarding and I am compelled to continue the pursuit of medical practice in an orthopedic surgery setting, nurtured by a group of healthcare experts possessing similar enthusiasm for the implementation of patient care. Through this application, I would like to be considered for the position of Orthopedic Physician Assistant in accordance with the requirements set forth by your practice. I have recently become engaged and am seeking a position that promotes longevity, as I am planning to relocate to the Raleigh area. Hence the reason for my shortened employment in Jacksonville, NC. Out of respect for the practice, I recently resigned to allow for the transition.
I would be honored to work with a staff of educated and experienced professionals affiliated with your organization. My contact information is included in this packet and I am available throughout the day. I thank you for your time and also for this opportunity to be considered for this esteemed professional environment.
Sincerely,
Rachel L. Ondek
