SALES ASSOCIATE MEN’S DEPT • BELK SUMMIT• 2017– JAN 2021 Worked as a Sales Associate in Men’s dept and other depts as needed providing customer service, sales, returns, credit applications, inventory, etc. Received many rewards for great customer service from Management and customer reviews. Furloughed for 3 months during this time due to the Covid Pandemic. Returned and worked from Sept. thru beginning of January.

In March of 2013, a month before I was to graduate from college, I was in a severe car accident. I sustained many physical injuries including a Diffuse Axonal Brain injury. After being hospitalized at UAB and spending a month at Spain Rehab, I returned to Anniston to live with my parents for further Rehab. After almost a year of rehab, I was able to gradually return to school and work at Belk. Difficulties with short term memory made school more challenging but I was able to complete my Biology Degree and graduated in 2016.

*Attempted graduate school class in fall of 2016 but due to short term memory issues from brain injury from car accident, was unable to pass with a “B.” Praying that I will be able to return to Graduate school at UAB and complete my dream of becoming a Forensic Scientist. However, I am open to any doors that may open for me in another area that utilizes my Biology degree or Spanish minor.
