I was hired as a change agent to lead the largest liquid asphalt and emulsion facility in the Ergon system which produces polymerized, emulsion, and cutback asphalt products as well as being a terminal for other oils and diesel. GNB, Inc., Technical Manager (09/95 – 10/98) Columbus, GA

I led a cross-functional team of engineers in a $13M expansion project that more than doubled the production capacity of the plant. The project involved adding casting machines, an assembly line, and formation capacity. My role also included troubleshooting process equipment and implementing cost reduction initiatives.

GNB Inc., Various Engineering and Manufacturing Roles (08/84 - 09/95) Memphis, TN and St. Paul, MN

Started my career as a quality technician and progressed through several jobs in the technical and manufacturing side of the automotive battery industry. Concluded my time at Memphis by leading the production aspects of an 8000 unit/day facility, i.e. manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, environmental assurance, human relations, and budget planning.
