ROSS HR TRANSFORMATION PROJECT:
The HR system in Ross is currently on PeopleSoft version 8.0. This is being upgraded to version 9.2 and tools
Version 8.56 and later upgraded to 8.59. The transformation project was initially executed by a different vendor and was slated for go-live in May 2020. However due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the project was put on hold and Ross decided to pursue the project with a different vendor and Wipro bagged this project. The modules involved are Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management and W4, the last 2 being new ones which would start from the design phase. Improve Employee and Manager Engagement experience. Define a uniform way of working with the
HR system for effectiveness.

Sick Leave is time off from work that workers can use to stay home to address their health and safety needs, without losing pay. Ross provides paid sick leave to FT hourly associates (56 hours per year). FT exempt associates do not have a formal sick leave policy. PT associates are not provided paid sick leave by Ross, outside of jurisdictions where we are mandated. Certain jurisdictions (cities and/or states) have passed laws mandating that employers provide sick leave to employees, which include PT employees in most cases.
Current State: Currently, the solution implemented at Ross has limited functionality which is not scalable for growing number of NEW States and Cities considering Sick Leave legislation.
To be State: Implement a flexible solution that will be utilized for States and Cities which are already have mandate to implement Sick Leave and also that will be scalable for future jurisdictions that are considering the legislation.
