Hi there! My name is Aiden Quertermous, and I am currently a Sophomore at Emory and Henry College, majoring in Media and Communications with a minor in History. As a proud gay man, I am passionate about amplifying diverse voices and stories through various forms of media. This upcoming summer, I will be living in New York City with my older brother, where I hope to gain valuable experience and further my professional growth in the field. With my strong communication skills and creative mindset, I am excited to bring my unique perspective to any project or team I work with.
Work Experience
As a lifeguard for the Mount Pleasant Rec Department, my primary responsibility was to ensure the safety of all swimmers in the pool. I was trained to be vigilant and keep a close eye on the pool area at all times, ready to respond immediately in case of any emergencies. my job also involved enforcing pool rules, maintaining a clean and organized pool area, and providing excellent customer service to all patrons Life Guard

As a Swim instructor at Brighton Swim Academy, I had the rewarding responsibility of teaching young children how to swim. as Vice President of Beta Lambda Zeta, a local service fraternity at Emory and Henry College I played an essential role in supporting the organization's mission of promoting leadership, scholarship, and service within the community. My responsibilities included organizing events and service projects, collaborating with other members, and providing support to the President and other officers. This has been an excellent opportunity to develop my leadership skills and make a meaningful impact on your community.
