Order Picker

Southwest School and Office Supply • Jurupa Valley, CA

**/**** - **/****

I was responsible for receiving orders and fulfilling them by collecting the orders on a pallet, Writing down the location for the order like what school or office ordered it and what truck route it needs to be in and the Loaders would do the rest. I would repeat this until we were out of orders which afterwards I would finish the day by cleaning up the work area till the end of my shirt or until I have more work to do. Apprentice Carpenter

Griffith Flooring • Hemet, CA

06/2018 - 03/2022

I started working as an apprentice carpenter with my family during Jr year of highschool as a way to make side money, I would work the job off and on each year if i didn't already have a job or if my family needed help. my duties would consist of unloading trucks carrying material, Placing that material somewhere close to where my co-workers are at or near whatever room they are working on. After unloading the truck/s I would start prepping each room by sweeping and vacuuming and scraping the floor to make it as leveled as possible. If my co-workers were already scraping then I would open some boxes of material and start setting the material down in each room to help my co-workers get started and would pretty much keep the material coming in that way my co-workers didn't need to constantly get up and come back. my co-workers were mainly my Father and my Uncle and some family friends. After each room is finished I would then lay down some flooring paper and cover the entire floor. Once it was time to wrap up and head home it would also be my job to put away the tools and power tools like Table saws. Truck Unloader

Amazon Warehouse • Fontana, CA

06/2020 - 05/2021

My responsibilities were primarily unloading trucks coming inbound, other than unloading trucks we would also work near a conveyer line away from the docks and would retrieve pallets and set them near the conveyer line for other works to grab the boxes from the pallet and put them on the conveyer, or I'd be working at the conveyer line unloading pallets. I would also have to put stickers/scan special items like coming in during holidays which was fairly easy as all I'd do is place the stickers to each passing box on the conveyer line and a machine would scan for me or i would have to manually scan boxes passing through the conveyer.

Summary

I'm a team player, I work well when collaborating and played a few sports in Highschool primarily wrestling which our team felt like family and we were always there to push one another to their end goal. My interest is in Martial Arts thought it's been a while since I've been on a Mat. A lot of my work experience mainly comes from warehouse work, Besides warehouse work I've worked with family in their friends carpentry business Griffith Flooring however I wasn't ever really taught how to lay floor down or how to do a glue down, they always usually only had me there to move material from trucks, Prep rooms that are going to be worked on, Or when they finish a room I would cover the floor in paper. I didn't stick around because I wasn't being taught anything and felt like I was being used as a pack mule instead of one of their workers. Skills
