Position: POD Riveter
Key Duties/Responsibilities
• Assemble and rivet fabric PODs in an efficient manner ensuring quality.
• Ensure compliance with all C&W company policies and Health and Safety requirements.
• Ensure understanding of Pre-work requirements, the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), setting up and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Rivets PODS using a HUCK hydraulic rivet gun.
• Cleans rivet gun on a daily basis to ensure safety and functionality of tools
• Starts/ Shuts down HUCK hydraulic unit daily, checks pressures and hydraulic fluid levels at the beginning and end of shift.
• Assembles PODS using clamps and rubber mallets to join the components together. References available upon request
