Responsible for the planning, development, implementation, evaluation/continuous improvement of an infection prevention and control program with Acute Care, Sub Acute Care, Transitional Care, Rehabilitation and Mental Health units.

• Oversees healthcare associated infection data collection, tracking, reporting, surveillance and analysis.

• Reports all "Reportable Disease”, as defined by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), to the local health department and executed any necessary follow-up.

• Acts as a resource and consultant to hospital personnel and served as a liaison between departments, administration, the Hospital Infection Control Committee, and outside agencies.
