Duties included unloading trucks and rolling equipment into the facility with pallet jacks.

Staging trays of mail on equipment for carrier pick up in route order in addition to distributing

the trays of mail and magazines to carrier routes for approximately 135 routes.

Sorting parcels from one pound up to seventy pounds to approximately 30 routes for five different zip codes. Handling the mail with care to ensure it is distributed to the correct route for delivery.

Sorting registered, express and certified mail in a secure location for delivery to carriers where the carriers are required to sign for the mail prior to the delivery to the customers.

Sorting box mail to the box customers in the PO box unit.

All assigned duties must be completed early morning to ensure timely deliver to carriers and customers in the Concord and Pleasant Hill zip codes.
