I am responsible for operating a given number of plastic blow molding machines

(including in-line equipment), and making necessary adjustments or minor repairs to ensure production of containers was made in a safe, efficient and high quality manner. I was able to study, learn, and be tested on 8 weeks of material in just under 3 weeks. I was running the line independently through an entire shift by week 4. My primary duties were to:

Understand, follow and enforce all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognize practices. Operate specialty machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move products

Maintain and monitor machine to make sure it functions properly Understanding of how operated machine works

Conduct quality checks periodically

Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed

Analise machine operations and output

Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production

Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned

Perform basic processing of injection and/or blow molding machines to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.
