C.D Lyon - ExxonMobil SYU Oil and Gas Production PSM Processing Facility- Title: Facility Maintenance Technician May 2018- August 2021

Lead man on crew, working under Maintenance Foreman with responsibility for job planning and execution. Regular relief for Maintenance Foreman position overseeing 5 person work crew. Tasks include: Work prioritization and delegation of tasks to crew members based on competencies, pre-work inspections and job walks including verification of system isolation, preparation of job documentation such as Job Safety Analysis and Work Permits, Identification and gathering of materials and tools required for safe and efficient job execution. Daily use of safe work practices for PSM facilities, lock Out/Tag Out for energy and process isolation, working at Heights using a variety of fall protection, Understanding and compliance with site procedures and guidelines, Last Minute Risk Assessment, Toolbox Safety Meetings, and Step Back 5x5 process, fully incorporated into site safety culture, regularly leading morning safety meetings and performing safety observations in the field. Visually inspected and analyze what parts are acceptable and can be reused or replaced from customers motors that were received. Perform electrical check and see if parts are hi-potting, amateurs, stators, comm heads, speed sensors, terminal block and pc boards. This would lead to separating the parts and sending them out to a washroom process then to an oven to bake. Re-checks of the electrical parts were then done and determined to be acceptable for use of re-building the motor. If not acceptable the first time, cause and correction of the issue were determined.
