District Head of Statistical Division-Kegalle District (2019.June- Up to now) Supervise and Monitor;

Field work arrangement and Data collection of Annual Surveys conducted by Department of Census and Statistics

Mapping, Listing and data collection activities of Census of population and Housing, Agriculture, Industry, Trade and Services Censuses. Regular Data collection of Paddy, Highland Crops and livestock Statistics. Quarterly survey of Industries, Timber Statistics. Producer’s prices and open market prices data collection for National Producer’s Price index and National consumer price Index.

Data entering process of all surveys conducted at district level. Make sure the Statistical officers are competent with required technical and management skills to meet the objectives of the department & train & them for next level.

Perform additional duties assigned by the District Secretary with the current role as District Head.

Transform the Data collection method from Paper Assisted Personal Interview

(PAPI) to Computer Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI) Maintain District office Budget according to financial rules and regulation given by government

Conduct progress review meeting to assess the work performance of the Field Officers

Conduct training sessions on Statistics for newly recruited trainees North Western Provincial Council (2015 January – 2019 June) 4 years Senior Statistician of the Statistical Division

Supervise and Monitor;

Update cadre management data base of the Provincial council consist with 5 Ministries and 18 Departments. (approximately 47,000 employees) Verify/Recommend vacancies for new recruitments and annual transfers. Working as a Project Manager of the land valuation acquiring project for the Provincial revenue Department.
