Special Agent-Federal Bureau of Investigation -1995-2020

• Crisis Management Program Manager- Led a Crisis Management team of diverse individuals responsible for all aspects of crisis response for the San Diego FBI. Collaborated with the communications team on appropriate Crisis Communications strategies. Supported team member development and was responsible for creating a training and exercise program for FBI personnel. Served as a sounding board for division leadership on operational and policy matters. Provided briefings related to programatic issues to executive management.

• Weapons Mass Destruction Program Manager - Managed all administrative, budgeting, and operational aspects of the San Diego WMD Program. Responsible to identify, manage, and drive execution of strategy and objectives critical to the success of the program. Performed programatic review and analysis and tracked progress toward program goals. Fostered collaboration with cross-functional agencies in preparing for, and responding, to crisis events. Served as an SME to senior management and provided regular program related briefings and trainings. Led, and participated in, multiple task forces and working groups related to emergency preparedness and response. Provided international training on WMD and terrorism related matters.

• HazMat Team Leader/Bomb Technician - Led a team of FBI HazMat technicians. Managed budget, personnel, training and equipment issues. Mentored team members and facilitated career progression. Coordinated daily with local agency partners to share intelligence and coordinate operations. Squad Relief Supervisor - Provided investigative and personnel management for a squad of FBI investigators, analysts and administrative personnel.
