Comprehensive experience working on prototype chassis, racks, cabinets, installing harnesses, wiring chassis, and using many types of gauge wiring, i.e. 30 to 8 gauge. Assemble both simple and intricate harnesses for chassis, racks, cabinets, terminating wire ends with connectors, lugs or whatever is required to complete the job. Complete harnesses and use solder iron to connect wires to terminals. Build chassis, racks, cabinets, heavy mechanical and electromechanical assembly, which requires all types of screws, numbers 4, 6, 8 and 10, some with Lock tite blue or red, as called for on the drawings. Point-to-point testing upon completion of chassis, racks, cabinets. Rework for test and inspection, perform changes and corrections as per ECNs on drawings, in order to avoid future problems with printed circuit boards, chassis, racks, cabinets, etc. A variety of surface mount work, soldering to Mil- Spec standards, setting-up and running MyData and secondary operations on surface mount boards. Work from many types of visual aids.
