GNFC (Gujarat Narmada valley fertilizers & Chemical Limited)—Sr. Laboratory Analyst (2011-2023)

● Identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions and promote safe work environment and meet OSHA standards.

● Perform scheduled calibration on all QC instruments in the lab. Troubleshoot any instrument related problems and help with resolving the issue. Find root cause and place process in work to prevent it in the future.

● Follow SOPs/Work Order instructions and provide guidance to other chemists in case of any errors in requirements.

● Provide training to all upcoming employees.

● Ensure that end of the day standard for entire lab is being met by the team.

● Follow standard for Fertilizer Control Order (FCO). It’s a standard developed by government body for Fertilizers.

● Support bi-weekly internal and annual external ISO18001 audits.

● Follow standard TQV (Total Quality Value) for highly hazardous products.

● Improve process for testing and analytical methods of same leading to cost savings and higher yield.

● Identified and developed ways to reuse of waste from the process.

● Verify various type of analytical methods for Urea, Phosphatic Fertilizers, Nitric acid, Methanol, Acetic Acid, Formic Acid, Ethyl Acetate and TDI.

● All types of classical methods using SOPs with accurate documentation.

● Lead efforts to setup final product and process laboratories.

● Support central lab for all raw chemicals and final product.

● Use of instruments like UV Spectrophotometer, Gas Chromatography, Distillation Unit, PH Meter, Conductivity Meter, Turbidity Meter, Liquid Chromatography, CHN Analyzer, Karle fisher, Atomic Absorption & Polarography
