(signs posts, traffic signals, and missing or loose signs).
• Drives department vehicles when necessary and complies with all applicable procedures in the operation of the same.
• Compiles, prepares and submits all daily work operating reports and other forms as required.
• Acts in a courteous and professional manner with the public when explaining parking regulations or providing directions or traffic information.
• Patrols an assigned area or route to observe vehicles eligible for impoundment; identifies eligible vehicles and reports to central operations by walkie talkie or two-way radio, to verify same.
• May be required to key punch information used in the retrieval of vehicles violating the City of Boston parking ordinances.
• Inspects all open-air parking lots to insure compliance with Traffic and parking rules and regulations.
