It is with great pleasure that I extend to you this conditional offer of employment to work as Assistant Cook onboard the Norwegian Cruise Line – Pride of America. This Conditional Offer is subject to the following: 1. You must satisfy The Pride of America pre-employment conditions which include but are not limited to successfully completing a drug screen, physical and background check(s), & reference checks.
2. You must receive your Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) from the U.S. Coast Guard.

3. You must receive your Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC™) from the Transportation Security Administration.
4. Complete STCW training from the U.S. Coast Guard. If you satisfy the above pre-employment conditions, you will start employment onboard the Pride of America at a per hour rate of $9.60 as Assistant Cook. This rate will vary should there be a change in your position as determined by Norwegian Cruise Line. Due to the unique nature of pre-employment requirements of The Pride of America, you will be assigned to work with an Onboarding Administrator, who will walk you through our pre-employment process. As you know, you will be responsible for obtaining the Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) and the Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC).
Norwegian Cruise Line will reimburse you for the actual cost of the application fees, as indicated below, with proper receipt submission.
Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) ($125.25) Your employment in relation to Norwegian Cruise Line, and any rights described herein, is not effective until the actual start of your employment onboard. Effective with the start Page 1 of 2
date of your assignment, you will begin a 90-day probationary period onboard. Please do not resign from your current position or make major changes to your living arrangements until you have been advised of a specific join date by a member of the Norwegian Cruise Line – Pride of America processing team. We will contact you shortly and guide you through the process necessary to jump on board an exciting career with Norwegian Cruise Line.
