Negotiated 1.75 Million extra(fully funded). $5,000,000 NJEDA site work project,$4,000,000 Cumberland County paving project. These projects included more then 100,000 tons of asphalt. The asphalt was provided by the Stavola Millville plant.

Jersey City,N.J to Manhattan,N.Y, Complete rebuild of PATH Tunnel from Exchange Place to the World Trade Center including tunnel extensions and realignment, new track and concrete ballast, new electrical and signalization,.Refurbish existing Exchange Place Station and new station at the World Trade Center. Work with tunnel boring machines, drilling and blasting, Brock demolition, concrete forming and placement, track installation, structural steel Total value in excess of $200M

Revel Casino,Atlantic City N.J. Provided steel sheeting cut walls for foundation excavation, foundation forming and pouring and dewatering for 1.7 billion casino located 500 feet from the Atlantic Ocean.

Encap, Lyndhurst, NJ. This project involved ground improvement for 780 acre site for 3000 residential units, 500,000 SF commercial space, 500,000 SF hotel and two golf courses. Dynamic compaction and 60,000 wick drains.

This project was on a closed landfill and involved environmental as well as structural enhancement.

Borgata Casino and Hotel, Atlantic City, NJ. Construction involved foundations, 6700 15" pipe piles, 11,000 cy of concrete footings for support of hotel tower. Contract value $23M.

Mirage Casino, Atlantic City, NJ. Site work. Placed 2.5 million tons of sand for landfill caps. Dynamic compaction and 30,000 wick drains. Contract value $20M.

Tunnel Project, Atlantic City, NJ. Contract Value $240,000M. Work included 4000 L.F. cut and cover poured concrete tunnel. 13 bridges reinforced earth walls. 3000 L.F. of New Jersey Transit railroad. Complete fiber optic smart highway systems, 150,000 tons of asphalt roadway.

Project Manager (1983 - 1991)

Route 287, Parsippany, NJ. This project involved the widening (one lane in each direction) of Route 287 at the Junction of Route 80 including four miles of roadway and 13 bridges, 33,000 tons of asphalt, 1.2M SF of sound wall, 15,000 SF of Jersey barriers. Contract value $43M.

Summer 1993. Negotiated a substantial increase in monies to pay for increased costs to pay the accelerated schedule as deemed by the New Jersey Department of Transportation as an attempt to fast track all of the Route 287 contracts. Monies included all expenses relating to traffic control, routine, and extra work required. This resulted in an additional change order in excess of $1.5M to complete contract work for Route 287, Parsippany, NJ and eliminate 95% of the night work.

Route 287, Oakland and Riverdale, NJ. Construction involved the drilling, blasting, and excavation of 3 million cy of rock, erection of 1 million pounds of structural steel, 6000 cy of concrete structures; steel beam piling and steel shell piling of various sizes. Used 922 loaders teamed with 50 ton CAT haul units, allowing for loading each unit in 3 passes, taking less than 2 minutes each, requiring only 2 loaders, completing the work in 12 months, upgrading entire truck fleet. Contract value $55M.

Route 24, Madison and Florham Park, NJ. Placement of 10,000 cy of structural concrete; erection of 2 million pounds of structural steel; excavation of 100,000 cy of wet excavation; placement of 300,000 cy of embankment; placement of 100,000 tons of asphalt pavement. Project completed 2 months ahead of schedule. Contract value $38M.

Route 18, Eatontown, NJ. 200,000 cy of wet excavation; 500,000 yards of embankment steel bearing piles; 12,000 cy of structural concrete; 2 million pounds of structural steel; placement of 120,000 tons of asphalt pavement. Using knowledge of embankment ability, I was able to lower costs per cy and substantial savings in comparison to budget costs. Contract value $31M. This project was paved by Stavola Asphalt, for which they received the yearly award.

Route 22, Newark, NJ. Demolition and removal of 1600 SF of three lane viaduct; placement of four lanes of poured concrete viaduct. Contract value $22M.

Superintendent (1981 - 1983)

New York State Thruway, Harrison to Newburgh, NY

Rebuild 17 miles of roadway including eleven bridge decks. Contract value $18M.

Route 23, Wayne, NJ

Steel sheet piling, tie back systems, steel bearing piles, structural concrete, excavation and embankment, grading, drainage, paving. Contract value $22M.

Garden State Parkway, Union, NJ

Demolition of concrete structures, sheet piling, steel bearing piles, widening of existing roadway, grading, paving, and utilities. Contract value $15M.
