ACADEMIC PROJECTS

PROJECT: SQL TO CREATE A DATABASE

In this project, we created a database with data collected on the government website on natural disasters to help people living in certain regions to avoid the consequences of these catastrophes. We used a large dataset to be sure to not have a biased result.

·Create a database based on our Entity Relationship Diagram.

·Built out the data and reporting infrastructure using Tableau and SQL.

·Populate the database with sample data.

·Creating logical Data Models to analyze and make decisions.

PROJECT: R studio FOR DATA ANALYSIS

In this project, the goal was to conduct statistical analysis on a specified dataset.

Perform data cleansing to remove all missing values.

Analyzed a categorical variable and created a graph to represent the data.

Determined statistical summary including mean, standard deviation, first quarter, last quarter, and median.

Analyzed variance to make decisions based on the hypothesis that has been formed.

Built a logistic regression model

PROJECT: Python to create VIDEO GAME SUGGESTION

In this project, the goal was to create a program that suggests games to users based on their age.

Extracted data using Beautiful Soup and Panda’s python web scraper into a CSV file.

Wrote a python script to parse data from the CSV file and generate a video game suggestion based on the data.

Prompt a login with the user’s name and pin number.

Ask users to enter the born year to prompt the adequate game.

Provide statistical analysis using libraries like Matplotlib.

Generate a report to plan.

Collaborated with my team using GitHub.
