Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintenance of generators, pumps, motors, transformers, lights, circuits, wiring and other electrical equipment’s on board the ship.

Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and ensure compliance.

Running and operating water supply pumps on board the ship and making sure they operate normally and efficiently.

Duty water engineer (operate and run water pumps in specific time and duration in order to supply water to different quarters within the Naval Establishments)
