Worked in Stator Winding Dept. as an expediter.
this required accumulating parts for various orders so they could be passed on to the next step of the process
Worked in Shipping Dept. as a paint booth operator.
This required applying the correct finish paint to the completed motors before being sent to the packing dept.
Worked in the Assembly Dept.
This required learning to read and understand shop drawings, shop practices, work instructions and critical parameters as well as inspecting parts before final assembly.
Worked in Quality Dept.
Duties included:
Calibration
Calibrate gages such as outside micrometers, calipers, bore gages. Arrange and supervise calibration of electronic equipment and other specialized equipment/ gages by accredited outside sources
Process Auditing
Audit all processes of Columbus facility using ISO 9001:2015 standards
Review and answer customer complaints using DMAIC process
Document Control
Audit, create and update documents as needed such as work instructions, critical parameters and various other controlled documents.
Training Document Administrator
Ensure all employees had correct and up to date training documents for all assigned tasks as well as making sure all pertinent employees were notified and trained on any changes or updates to their work instructions and/or critical parameters
Incoming Receiving Inspection
Inspect various parts from outside vendors to make sure they meet specification before being released to production.
Outgoing Inspection.
Inspect parts orders before shipping to ensure customer requirements are met.
