Founder of a full service commercial real estate investment and development firm providing a range of services including: transaction sourcing, due diligence, deal structuring/negotiations, asset management, stabilization, leasing, value enhancement, hold/exit strategies and disposition management. Responsible for acquiring a $2.33 billion California office portfolio, the largest real estate transaction in the U.S. between 2007 and 2015. Developed over 20 medical office properties in 2013-2020.
Cabi Developers, Los Angeles, California January 2007 – December 2008 Position: Executive Vice President
Established US operations. Responsible for overseeing all investment and development opportunities in the Western United States. Personally responsible for the acquisition of 58 office buildings in southern California totaling 4.6 million square feet and valued in excess of $1.5 billion. Cabi Developers parent company, GICSA, was founded in 1989 and is the one of the largest and most prestigious real estate development and investment companies in Latin America. The Company is operationally diverse, with substantial experience in retail centers, office and industrial buildings, residential developments and resorts. The company currently has a portfolio of over 40 million square feet in the United States and Mexico.

Established and managed the Los Angeles office of California’s largest land, investment and development brokerage firm, with annual transaction value in excess of $2 billion. Primarily focused on the firm’s core infill, mixed-use and high-density residential brokerage activities, as well as expanding its commercial, industrial and retail pursuits.

Directed the marketing and management of portfolio-based advisory services provided to corporate clients including transaction management and real estate administration, strategic portfolio planning and implementation, and operating expense and property tax audit consulting. Clients included Citigroup, Charles Schwab, Fair Isaac, and Company, Inc., Nissan North America, VeriFone, Inc., Wells Fargo and Progressive Casualty Insurance Company.

Managed 5.5 million square foot corporate owned and leased real estate portfolio located in the western and mid-western United States and British Columbia. Responsible for strategic infrastructure planning, asset acquisition and disposition, leasing, construction and construction management, facilities planning and property management activities. Supervised staff of 12 real estate professionals.

Position: Southern California Regional Manager June 1993 - January 1995
Appointed by Governor Pete Wilson to oversee the State of California’s 6.5 million square foot real estate portfolio in southern California. Directed all leasing, acquisition, disposition, planning, construction, and asset management activities from San Luis Obispo to the Mexican border. Developed business attraction and retention programs utilizing state real estate assets. Supervised staff of 215 real estate professionals.
