As The Operator I verify that the assigned Crew Members are present at the work station on time ready to work. I usually give a 5 min talk to make sure everyone stays safe throughout the work day and to be aware of any issues that occur throughout the day.
Operator then verifies the product the machine is running matches with correct master of order
The Operator performs a joint inspection of the machine and run a sheet through to make sure we are in register of the product without any scratches/bad print, loose liner, no words cutting off and crack scores.
As operator and Lead Person I notify any issues that is cause with the machine and put work order into computer.
The Operator verifies that the Run Sheets / Job Jackets / Die Vinyls, in-process load tags, or finished goods load tags for any sheet orders, are available throughout the run
Reviews the Run Sheet for the upcoming orders
Verifies litho sheets match the Die Vinyl
Logs the order onto Shop Floor
Prepares load tags
After any order is complete I log our numbers in from the run calculate the waste from the front and the back and close the order out. Then I set up the next order by breaking the machine down taking the setup out and adding the new setup in
