February 2020 to August 2022, Primary Care, Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Physician Assistant Certified at Community Action Health Center, Gering Nebraska for children, youth, adults, and geriatrics. I utilize a “wholistic” method to improve the lives of my patients, through motivational interviewing, cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, various substance abuse treatment models, diet, exercise, and medication management. Many of my patients reported more satisfaction, greater improvements and personal trust in my abilities compared to other providers at this facility when reviewed in patient surveys.

August 2019 to present substitute teacher as needed, most frequently in Special Education at Platte County School District 1, Guernsey, Wyoming due to having a strong behavioral health background the skills to support those with special needs, ADD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy etc. October 2017 to December 2017 and April 2018 to Sept. 2018: (Locums) Adult inpatient psychiatric care at Idaho State Hospital North, Orofino, Idaho. Diagnostic assessment, Primary Care, Medication management, and Behavioral therapy for those mandated to inpatient psychiatric treatment. By providing “dog therapy” patients had reduced anxiety, increased comfort, and returned to the community much sooner.

August 2012 to July 2014 Behavioral Health provider at Fremont Counseling Services in Lander and Riverton, Wyoming. Diagnostic assessment, Medication management and Behavioral therapy-all ages.. Providing medication management, interim Primary care, Matrix Model Substance abuse treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Working with local inpatient Psychiatric Hospitals and the State Mental Hospital to prevent hospitalizations and integrate and stabilize previously hospitalized back into the community. Also providing care for those in Mental Health and Drug Court. I initiated seeing recently committed patients to a minimum of once to twice weekly upon discharge and graduated necessity of appointments based on patients perceived need and observed stability. This dropped the recidivism by more than 50% in the first year. December 1999 to October 2000 Providing Health care for all ages.
