Software Tester for client AT&T
Create and execute test plans for Extraction, Translation and Load (ETL) compliance project. The test plans created for each release were implemented in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets which included the test inputs, results and summary of results for the testing of the trouble tickets for the release and the regression test suite run for the release. ETL consisted of shell script data stream input processing which would convert different data streams into commonly formatted
output records to be stored into Vertica data base tables for Voice, Data, SMS and Cell tables.
Extensive use of Linux OS and shell script, and SQL for Oracle and Vertica databases. This was tested for monthly releases and patch releases. I automated the manual processing of 20 input
Streams by the creation of multiple shell scripts to be run from the start of the streamer input processing through the ingestion into the Vertica database tables. In addition to the monthly regression testing created from the automation, all trouble tickets were created as needed.
Jira for trouble ticket tracking. This was used to create trouble tickets as needed and to status all testing and resolution of all trouble tickets.
Vertica SQL was used to query the database for appropriate candidates for testing, to look at counts and contents of records before and after new processing. In addition SQL was used to create or modify data as appropriate for Trouble Ticket esting.

which were upgrades to the customer software when there were modifications to the
database schema and significant fixes or improvements to the software. Also tested were
as needed Software Upgrades which would introduce software fixes and/or enhancements.
Support customer – verification of contents for field software, real-time support for
Customer FOAs, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of defects as needed. Creation of regression test suites to test with each software delivery to verify the integrity of the base software and subsequent fixes delivered.
Use of Test Management System(TMS), ClearCase Management System (CCMS), and
