Manufacturing Operations
Responsible for planning, developing, and executing capital projects that improve plant productivity. Includes: plant improvements, capacity expansions, cost reductions driven by ROI on capital needed, and new products requiring capital. $3.5 million closed loop water system. Reduced cooling water downtime by 90%.

Continuous Improvement
Create Lean projects each year with a cross functional manufacturing team to address organization of parts inventory, work place organization (5S), optimize processes, eliminate waste caused by unexpected equipment failures, improve supply chain response to inventory volumes.
Identify production roadblocks using Six Sigma methodologies such as Pareto charts to identify the top production problems. Conduct root cause analysis using 5 Whys, Fish bone diagrams, A3, etc. to define solutions. Plan and execute projects with associated departments to resolve roadblocks.
Instituted comprehensive predictive maintenance plan to conduct daily, quarterly, and annual inspections of equipment and facilities critical to production to identify failures earlier potential failures and resolve in a timely fashion.
Implemented preventative maintenance for production equipment to improve equipment performance and reliability. Add new tasks as problems are identified, modify tasks if procedures require improvement. Currently equipment runs at an Availability rate of 95%.
Instituted operator TPMs in 2015 to clean, inspect and lubricate equipment on a bi weekly basis to improve run time efficiency, and quality of product.
Monitor KPI on daily and monthly basis such as MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and %OA to track trends as well as identify areas for improvement.
