Aircrew Flight Equipment Technician, 10/2019 to Current M1 Support Services - Minot AFB – Minot, ND

Perform buildup and maintenance of flight clothing and other types of survival equipment such as survival vest, protective clothing, signaling equipment's and radios. Inspect troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Maintain/Issue pool equipment SEA bottle and LPU-40 Flotation Collar to air crew. Uses publication and chats to inspect remove/replace aircraft aviator survival equipment to include T.O.s, job guides, AFI's and shop OI's.

Document work accomplished on government and company electric an /or manual Information Systems to include DPAS.

Perform on aircraft conditional and special inspections of installed survival equipment. Order aviator personal equipment, parts, tools, materials, HAZMAT/OSTOMIES qualified and supply as and additional duty.

Rig/ fit/modify aviators helmets HGU-55/56/p helmets. Fit/repair/modify survival vest to include Rhodesian and CIAC vest. Rig life preserver and survival vest per mission readiness and configurations. Install test emergency radios in the survival vest to include CSEL and PLB. Service, repair and maintain SEA bottles for over water mission configurations. Operate, adjust, clean, and lube sewing machines.
