Summary: Rapidly advanced from crew member to positions of increasing responsibilities. I was promoted to shift manager with oversight of day-to-day operations and customer satisfaction. Promoted again to assistant manager to learn and manage all the different systems, from inventory management to staffing and scheduling. I learned all the systems and took accountability for results in all areas. I was promoted to Restaurant manager where I supervised a management team of 10 and a crew base of 60 plus. I was in charge of all restaurant results and training of all managers to achieve these great results. As 2nd Assistant Manager, developed crew members into Swing Managers, taking them through the entire training process. As 1st Assistant Manager, developed new Swing Managers; also developed existing Swing Managers into Assistant Managers. As the Store General Manager, oversaw all operations—human resources, training, sales, marketing, inventory, safety, security, and finances of a store doing $2.5 Million in annual sales. Developed 1st Assistant Managers into the next General Managers. Created Manager Development classes for the 14 Omaha area corporate stores; instructor for one-and-one-half years. •Management & Crew Scheduling – Produced weekly crew schedules for all operations, training, maintenance, and other support tasks to ensure adequate coverage and outstanding customer service, all in an effort to build business and profits. Produced the monthly management schedule, including management development activities, working on objectives, one-on-one coaching, a review process, communication days, meetings, auditing the inventory, production, and service systems, etc.

•Inventory Management – I train & follow up on my assistant manager that is in charge of inventory, this is a very important role. It involves monthly & weekly inventories, ordering and receiving trucks up to 700 pieces, validating transfers, action planning on any missing items. I conducted organized meetings about inventory to discuss our action plans going forward.

•Employee Relations – Properly staffed the restaurant for 5 years. At the store level and during hiring days for all 14 Omaha stores, conducted hiring for crew members and managers. Screened applicants, conducted interviews, performed reference and background checks, and presented orientations. Ensured employment laws were followed, enforced corporate policies and procedures, and provided guidance to my management team on application of these laws and policies. Investigated issues of employee disputes or misconduct and applied appropriate discipline; ensured proper documentation of issues and actions taken. Coordinated/conducted employee performance review process and wage increases. When required, terminated employees and conducted exit interviews.
