1. I was involved in improvement of a part by doing kaizen and got appreciated for that Kaizen. ( By changing the packing standard, we achieved good results because part was getting deformed in transit. The same step then got applied on every single part which was getting deformed or had a chance of getting deformed). 2. I was involved in a kaizen for decreasing the cost of part and that change got approved and got applied. ( A solid rod was being used in a part where it was not that much needed as there was not that much load being introduced to that part. So kaizen was made to make that part with a pipe of adequate thickness so that part can bear the induced stress).
