Responsibilities
Enforcement of federal and local laws, rules and regulations in support of National Gallery of Art (NGA) mission of protecting valuable works of art and ensure the welfare and safety of visitors an dc employees of the NGA.
Serve at my stationary post and or patrol high traffic areas and locations that are high risk to theft, vandalism and crimes against staff or patrons. Also detect and prevent offenses, pursue snf arrest violators when necessary.
My assignment also include patrolling or standing post at public entrances to the Gallery, staff entrances with proper Government Identification, shipping and receiving entrances, inspection of Gallery building and its perimeter.

Skills Used
Monitoring the visitors and staff from theft, damage or destruction of the Gallery art exhibits. Assist to secure the Gallery during emergency evaluation and perform measure for safety of staff and patrons.
