First Data Corp (CSI) Condor Dr Moorpark, CA 91320 03/2000 – 02/2004 Web Developer/QA Analyst (card transactions, merchant svcs provider) I was hired as a web developer for a smaller company (Cardservice International) which was later bought by this Fortune 500 company (First Data) to support a web based application system used by its more than 1300 merchants (ISO's) to retrieve residual information and application processing. I was added to the application programming group and trained by Microsoft engineers on use of the new .Net Framework. My role as mid-tier (n-tier, OOP, SDLC) was creation of business to connect the front end (GUI) to the data (SQL Server) on backend. First Data made changes and restructured groups, assignments. I was assigned a new role of lead QA Analyst to the SQA group my last year there. My main focus was working closely with Business Analyts who were creating cases based on user needs, maintenance of a "test environment", automation of the testing (scripts, QuickTest Pro, QA Run, WinRunner, LoadRunner) of newly created modules of a mission critical business support application. Regression tests were done for each cycle. I gained some knowledge of deployment and versioning while there as well.
