I did everything it takes to run a business. I did sales and brought in customers developing marketing tactics to meet the customers needs and wants. I acquired real estate and equipment to operate the businesses. I designed and operated the locations. I hired and supervised my employees. I did the bookkeeping and accounts managment and filled out the government forms and documentation and filed all government required filings. I did a lot of the maintenance myself. I designed and built a gasoline blending plant and a bulk gasoline facility.

I worked mostly as a mechanical engineer upgrading the the facilities in preparation of introducing CO2 to the SSAU unit in Gaines county Tx. I designed the gas gathering system that fed produced gas into the new CO2 plant. I designed a total new large tank battery in the center of the field in anticipation of increased oil production. I used some of these design features to increase the production capacity of the two large tank batteries already in operation in the north and south ends of this production unit. I coordinated with other engineers and with field staff in all phases of this work. I also did a limited amount of work with their computerized data gathering system.

I did electical engineering and some mechanical. I designed a radio system for leases in NW New Mexico. I designed protection equipment for a power line system south of Hobbs. I designed an alarm system for a lease near Carlsbad NM. I designed the circuit boards for alarming our gas wells using solar panel power, which was new technology back then. I assisted company electricians in troubleshooting problems. I did troubleshooting on our data gathering system in the Hobbs area

While working for a contractor on Mobil Oil leases I was offered a job for Mobil Oil as an electrician. We did all of the electrical repair on numerous leases for Mobil. Including troubleshooting motor controllers and power lines into oil wells and tank batteries and SWD stations. I also did some new installations of motors and motor controllers to oil wells and in tank batteries. I designed and built motor controllers for the SWD stations. During this time I worked alongside lease operaters and I am familar with their work and duties.

I learned oilfield electrical work. I learned to rewind electric motors, to run conduit and pull wires and install motor controllers and electric motors. I learned to build power line into oil leases. I was made foreman of a line crew when I was 20 years old. I learned how to troubleshoot and repair oilfield electric. We did most phases of oilfield electrical work.
