Serves as an Executive Assistant and Scheduler to the Command Group, Headquarters and Headquarters Command, 8 U.S. Army, Camp Humphreys, South Korea. Applies knowledge of South Korea and DoD policy as well as the Commander of USFK on his personal wishes regarding his operational schedule. Coordinates activities requiring inter-organizational action or consideration. Serves as a focal point for tasking, staff integration and coordination, and communication of information.

Serves as liaison between the military Executive Assistant and other staff members in management of the 8 Army’s daily activities and long-range schedule. Manages the operational schedule of the CDR. Forecasts requirements and de-conflicts events with other staff and international principals. Advises the military Executive Assistant of actual or potential problems that could have significant adverse effects on the 8 Army’s Operations to ensure effective planning and utilization of the Commander's resources. Prepares scheduling products, briefings, memoranda, forms, correspondence, etc. for the Command Group. Maintains and supports professionalism and productivity within the workforce.

Serves as the action control officer with responsibility for coordinating, analyzing, evaluating, guiding, and monitoring staff actions to consolidate various aspects and to assure that the daily and long-range activities has been properly staffed to achieve commander’s mission requirements. Communicates the intent of the Command Group and fully meets the sufficiency and responsiveness requirements. Responsible for the review, consolidation and/or preparation of requests for participation from a variety of activities, other foreign and local dignitary and military staffs, and civic organization leaders or other high-level inquiries, special reports, and/or special complex requests that affect more than one organizational element. Provides advice sustain optimum plans, actions, results, and continuity of US 8 Army Operations.

Translator/Interpreter (GS-12 Equivalent)

Serves as a member of a small team with frequent one-of-a-kind missions in time sensitive response to requirements from Italian High Court during Criminal Cases as a multi-language translator. Served as the language expert (Italian, Spanish, Albanian, English) and consultant court officials, and advisor for correspondence and meetings with government agencies and law firms.

Translates a large variety of sensitive/intelligence material to include classified reports which are specialized, technical, and often critical and time-sensitive to court decisions. Many of these reports require knowledge of special and technical vocabulary used in the legal, technical, and investigative fields. Translations also include legal briefs, directives, regulations, correspondence pertaining to intelligence, criminal, political, investigative, and judicial matters, requiring a thorough knowledge of the High Court Office mission. Uses a modern word processor program to produce draft electronic documents. Proofs the translation for meaning and clarity. Selects correct phrasing of terms, definitions, clauses, and idiomatic expressions that produce a linguistic accuracy which portrays shades of meaning, logic of facts, and clarity. Performs extensive subject matter research and analysis to become familiar with various specialized terminologies.

Assembles translated material for further use. Obtained additional enclosures and prepared supporting charts, graphs, tables, etc. for hard copy reports. Arranged material in the most suitable manner and prepares and types into final form. Scanned daily court documents and make relevant analysis to the mission of the court. Prepared reports and correspondence. Typed letters in final form for signature based on short verbal or written instructions. Used word processing software and printing equipment to create, copy, edit, store, retrieve and print a variety of standardized documents. Prepared final court criminal cases decisions. Conducted numerous unclassified records checks for their prompt completion and prepared results for dissemination to court officials and lawyers. Maintained office files, records, and policy files.
