At Zebra Technologies my job was a warehouse associate. The technicians request a part and it was my job to bring the parts to them. We had to be very good with memorizing. We memorize everything, the parts are called by numbers, (example: 6M.18RLD.002) we had to know where exactly that part is in our work area, we also have to know what the part is. We were graded on how fast we got the parts out to the technicians and our accuracy with giving them the right parts and the correct amount they want. I’m cross-trained so I did receiving as well and work in Circular Economy. I kept the parts cage stocked, I transferred things, made presentations for ideas to make our job easier and many more. This job is all about accuracy and detail. There’s no messing up, if one thing gets messed up, multiple things do as well. It’s a very good physically active job.
