OBJECTIVE

Certified bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Laboratory Technician, LSRT, MA looking to utilize all my skills and experience and now to employ all my Safety skills to any position in both English and Spanish.

QUALIFICATIONS

20+ years’ Phlebotomy experience with vein puncture, heel sticks, finger sticks, blood cultures, and blood draws.

20+ years’ arterial blood gas blood draws.

Laboratory Technology. Various Locations

Operate, calibrate and maintain equipment used in quantitative and qualitative analysis, such as spectrophotometers, calorimeters, flame photometers, and computer

–controlled analyzers.

Obtain and conduct chemical analysis of body fluids, including blood urine, and spinal fluid, to determine presence of normal and abnormal components. Analyze laboratory findings to check the accuracy of the results. Establish and monitor programs to e3nsure the accuracy of laboratory technicians and technologists, and other medical laboratory workers engaged in laboratory testing.

Radiology. Various Locations

Hold current certification and Colorado registration in Limited Scope Radiology and Bone Densitometry Operator.

Set up examination rooms ensuring that all necessary equipment is ready. Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during scan. Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and staff. Operate or oversee operation of radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Review and evaluate developed x-rays to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.

Medical Assistance. Various Locations

Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height.

Record patients’ medical history, vital statistics and information. Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician. Help physicians examine and treat patients, handing them instruments and material or performing such tasks as giving injections or removing sutures, as well as, Spanish Interpretation for provider and patients.

Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies. EDUCATION
