Background History
Born and raised in the Northern Cape where I attended St Patricks CBC in Kimberley and participated in a post matric finishing course at Treverton College in Natal. At Treverton College we were taught to face our fears and challenge our comfort zones. I completed my Bachelors in Psychology at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. I have completed my post graduate certificate in education (PGCE). In addition, I have done volunteering at the Student Counseling Resource and Development Centre. Bophelo Kimberley Care Centre:
Worked with AIDS orphans aged 2-13. Assisted them with various play activities as well as assisting the staff provide basic care for the children.
Care Haven: Port Elizabeth:
Provided company to the people at the care haven, and also assisted with arts and crafts. Assisted counseling people with adjustment difficulties
Student Counseling Career and Development Centre:
Offer various types of counseling to the students. Provided, create and assist with various workshops to aid students with various aspects of their lives. Here is a list of the types of activities I am involved in at student counseling:
